At BEDS Plus, we are proud to have exceptional women like Erica as part of our team. As a Case Manager and DCFS Housing Navigator, Erica plays a pivotal role in helping individuals find stability and support on their journey to self-sufficiency.
“I’m passionate about helping people feel seen and heard. Everyone deserves a chance, and I want to be the person who helps them get the resources they need to make that happen,” Erica shared.
Her role involves navigating clients through the often-complicated process of securing housing and connecting with community resources. “It’s not just about finding a place to stay; it’s about helping them build a new chapter in their lives,” Erica explains.
What drives Erica is the impact she sees every day. “The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the difference we make. When someone moves into a home, or when I know they’re in a better place emotionally and physically, that’s why I do this work.”
