How We Help

BEDS Plus Care delivers three primary lines of service to reduce and end homelessness in Southwest Suburban Cook County:  Prevention and Stabilization, Emergency Services, and Supportive Housing.

BEDS Plus helps people who are poor and homeless.  They are at imminent risk of losing their housing, living on the street, or living doubled-up with family or friends.  Each person’s situation is distinct, has its own causes, and requires an individualized program of care.  BEDS clients include single adults, senior citizens, families with children, Veterans, domestic violence survivors, and people with disabilities.  BEDS case managers help clients develop their own individual service plans with wraparound services to secure housing, stabilize, and rebuild their lives.
