The 14th Annual Soup & Bread was our most successful yet – truly one for the books. It was a day filled with great food, familiar faces, new connections, and a shared commitment to showing up for neighbors who need support. A highlight of the day was seeing so many people step forward with kindness and purpose to make a difference.
Here’s what that day looked like:

- 375 gallons of soup served from 24 restaurants
- 500 sandwiches shared
- 120 bottles of wine poured
- 896 Nothing Bundt Cake bites enjoyed
- 800 Marquette Bank mugs distributed
- 400 Heartland Bank potholders handed out
- 31 raffle items won
- 98 volunteers making it all possible
- Endless pours of craft brews from our local breweries
- 1,024 ounces of Whistle Pig Cocktails served
- 57 sponsors
- $161,000+ raised to support individuals and families facing housing instability
All together, it adds up to one powerful day of caring-and real support for the shelter, outreach, prevention, and housing programs of BEDS Plus.
