Suburban Cook County targets an end to chronic and veteran homelessness during COVID-19 crisis

BEDS Director of Supportive Housing Javon Harris and Housing Case Manager Jennifer Tudor were recently featured in a Community Solutions Case Studies article on suburban Cook County efforts to end chronic and veteran homelessness during the COVID-19 crisis. During the pandemic, Suburban Cook County has utilized the case conferencing practice, a weekly, problem-solving meeting, that brings key participants from across the county together to collaborate on ways to remove barriers to more quickly house clients. "I'm a huge fan of case conferencing," Javon said. "It helps to work through those issues, especially when barriers are different from agency and town-to-town." Click here to read more.
